New Year Wishes

I wish you a very happy new year, a very happy 2014. May you get more happiness in 2014 then you got in 2013, may your newly made resolutions last atleast for a month if not for the whole year !!, may you reach new heights of success, the zenith of success in whichever field you work hard for. May our India also progresses more this year, be it the rupee dollar fight, be it the fight to eradicate corruption, be it the government of AAP, or be it the progress of Saina Nehwal or PV Sindhu.

A very Happy New Year to all. Enjoy

Replay @2013

So, we all have entered into the new year. Congratulations to you all. :)
A rhythmic respect to the late 2013 !! :P

For all countrymen, I feel proud,
completed another chapter of life, the whole crowd,
but before jumping to the next page ,
let's revise what we learnt in the 2013 age .

2013 went away with mixed feelings as every previous year,
Murray sent a good news for Britishers to hear
won the Wimbledon beating Djokovic
Catherine and Williams smiled with their son in a click.

The 163 year old telegram was cremated by internet,
even election campaigns were done on  net .
Internet Bullying, introduced to us by Edward snowden .
announcing PV Sindhu as the star shuttler, my grin , I broaden.

Carlsen snatched from Vishwanathan, his championship title
Nokia lost its headquaters and hence its mettle.
US experienced the government shutdown
master blaster retired, god being analogous for this proper noun .

Our AAP won in delhi, stunning everyone ,
and Nelson Mandela left us to the heavenly one .
none of the above politicians, in election we got to choose ,
oh!!! its new year, these crackers will not let you even snooze.

                                                       HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!!!!!!!

FDI in India..What do you say ??

Yesterday, I was reading a column in TOI in which they had recalled all the economy related events of 2013 in India and there I spotted the term FDI. Oh god ! these 3 letters and with them all those newspaper headlines and protests rolled all over my mind again.
FDI - Foreign Direct Investment, a term I did not pay attention on in my whole economics session but a few newspaper readings and some heated protests and discussions made me pick up that economics textbook again. FDI or foreign direct investment means that foreign companies will come to India and establish their business on our land. Sounds simple  but is complex if you lend your ears to an economist. According to some of  them it will slay the the economic growth of India. I personally consider them correct because the competition from these foreign establishments is fierce and surely our settled businessmen will tackle it but our small grade businesses and general stores will definitely shut down.
So, how to handle this? Let us suppose that FDI is allowed in India. Then what ? In my mind there are 3 points and 2 realities that will make us happy.

1. If FDI is allowed then settled businessmen and NGOs should help the small grade businesses to tackle the competition by providing them financial benefits.

2. The first point sounds somewhat sacrificing, no ?? why should we compromise ?? so, the second way is to fix a constraint on all foreign investments on the type of commodities they can invest in.

3.This one is of Newton's type. If FDI is possible then reverse FDI is also possible. I mean to say that we will invest overseas in our strong areas following the same rules.

Now comes the turn of the 2 realities :

a. Tell me, is there less FDI in India already?? Companies from Italy(Fiat), Japan(Sony, Panasonic), US(Apple), Dell and many more invest in India, then also our economy is at the top. It means we are ready to face the competition.

b.This one is a bit far from practical market view. We indians have a strong belief on our products that  this FDI cannot shake. So, be happy and see what AAP can do for us.

The Brook

Through this poem I tend to inculcate the qualities of a river in you. The journey of a river introduces us to it's appreciable qualities.
A river makes it's path out of the nature but it never harms it, so we also shouldn't. A river provides habitat to our flora and fauna, so we shouldn't encroach them. A river is never biased, it pacifies the thirst of both poor and the rich and this one for all those corrupt people out there. A river is also mortal and so you are, therefore earn money enough for your lifetime, not more than that.

With this I present you the poetry -

Though almost extinct in nature's greenery,
I am proudly flowing in kids' scenery.
Form being fishes' swimming pool,
I have a hectic schedule.

What if poor water supply, government couldn't alter,
I provide rural areas with pure water.
No doubt, their shelters are in adversity,
but I pacify the thirst of our biodiversity.

Please don't take me in wrong assumption,
but unwillingly, I contribute in corruption.
I just wish to water dry fields,
but some morons divert me to increase their factory yields.

Now, I become the dustbin for factory waste,
generated in producing products of your taste.
My pollution becomes the topic of heated discussion,
who understands, it needs action over discussion.

Finally I enter into a spiritual portal
mingle with the sea, even I am mortal.

Lines from today's TOI

" The difficulty lies not so much in developing new ideas as in escaping from old ones. "

This line I think is absolutely correct and is the main obstacle in the development of anyone, be it an individual or a nation. There are many people with new and energetic ideas in their mind but there are also some people out there who are not ready to accept these ideas.

I know you might be thinking that I am talking a bit rude or insulting to our elders but no, absolutely no. I just want to air the idea of living on this earth with a blend of ideas of both, us and our elders.

I hope you agree...

The happiness of giving

The word “Give” has two meanings, the first one means to give your possession to someone else freely and second is to make over in exchange or payment but the one that provides us happiness is the first one.

Now think over this, a person who donates food to a charity is also giving and the government also gives us facilities but what is the basic difference between these? The government, in actual is not giving, it is dealing with us by providing facilities and taking taxes, while the person is not doing so. This is the Art of Giving. This art has the ability to satisfy both the giver and the taker because the taker gets his desire fulfilled and when we give someone, we do not go empty handed, we receive blessings which are more important than anything.

But some people do not have the ability or being particular, the desire to be the practitioner of this art. Read the following news item,
“Only two of the many billionaires of China accept Gates-Buffet invitation for donating money in their project “The Giving Pledge”
I wonder why people don’t want to donate money.  Will they take a bath in it or they want to use it only for their own luxury. Why don’t they think that excess of everything is always harmful and that there are many people around who need their help and charity.
Only giving is not important. The timing also counts. Imagine that your friend asked for your help within two days and you gave it the third day when he had got a good scolding from the teacher, what will your receive, only cursing. So, take care that you donate the right thing at the right time to the right person because some people do not deserve kindness.

Giving does not only involve giving material things. It can also involve giving non-materialistic and non-measurable things which are very important for us. For example you can provide literacy to the maid that comes to your house. Doing this, you will receive blessings and will ass a literate human being to the huge population.

At last, I want to advice that everyone should learn this Art to lead a prosperous life and I would also like to advice that never practice this Art forcefully because it will give the opposite effects and you will not be happy. So, donate to someone who is in need of and experience the rare happiness that will make your life fruitful.

Inspiring lines by respected APJ Abdul Kalam

"Don't read success stories, you will only get a message. Read failure stories, you will learn  the ways to get success."
2 days before Mr. Arvind Kejriwal refused the Z security and the red light transportation provided by the government  for him and he says that if he had accepted the facilities, it would have been against his party ideology.

What do you think? Was he right??

I think it was a disrespect and an ignorant attitude because we do not want him to give up on such facilities, we want him to design a new Delhi sans the mistakes of the previous government.

and one more thought...

Was it his individual decision or a collective decision of AAP

The best friend of a person is his/her mother and same is the case with me

Almighty could not reach to all,
so made mother for all.
You might be rough sometimes,
but you make my life full of chimes.

You cheer me up,
when I am stressed.
I shout, get irritated,
but your anger remains suppressed.

No matter how far I be,
You send your health tips to me,
You be busy, but you cut your schedule thinner,
just to call if I had dinner.

I love you mom,
wish you all the happiness of this world
