The age of 'cum'

Confused by the title? You don't need to be because that's the definition of our age, in my view. Yesterday, I was downloading a file explorer for my smartphone from the play store which had a real high number of  downloads and an excellent rating(ES File Explorer). The reason for it was that it was not just a file explorer but was a file explorer cum internet browser cum download manager cum app manager cum sound player cum video player cum rooting facility and some more extensions. In all it was a complete suite. Analogous to the above discussion of technologies with in-built attractive features, I want to say, especially to the youth that if you are a built in complete suite with multiple talents then reaching the zenith is gonna be easy for you. Never be specific or possessive about your talent. Always have the tendency to learn more, experience more and gain more. Specifically for engineers, recruiters now a days want a LINUX  specialist but if you are a domain specialist in addition to knowing LINUX than you are definitely going to get more. The idea is that multiply your knowledge everyday, learn everyday and give an edge to your skills so that you can master them. BEST OF LUCK

I am inspired

Brad Haddin, wicket keeper for the aussies performed very well in the recently concluded Ashes. In a chat with TOI, he was asked the secret behind his sudden comeback and he answered that his daughter, Mia was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma when he was touring the West Indies but she stood strong and recovered to inspire his daddy to blast against the England. Sushil kumar, olympic medallist of India has recently became the happy father of twin boys. His happiness was highlighted from his comment that he is inspired to train harder for the Rio olympics now. Till now you would have come to know the idea that I want to air. Inspiration, a common word in dictionaries but carrying  special meaning with it. Inspiration, I think cannot be defined. We get inspired from a number of things, be it a song, a movie, an individual or even from a smell. But these do not inspire us everyday, everyday we do not feel that extra energy in us, that happiness in us. So, why not start an inspiring morning daily ? Inspiration does not need you to match your goals with your role model, it makes you generate enthusiasm for that, it makes you take different and more efficient steps to reach your goals. So, get inspired and you can start from this paragraph !!

The story of a pencil

The pencil tells us -

I am a need
that helps you to read
because if I will not write
your future will not be bright

I have a busy trip
mostly in your grip
sometimes I describe things
and sometimes color kings

I am not always happy
for I also have misery
when I am thrown away in anger
by you when you fail in a maths teaser

Sometimes, I break my point
and sometimes even a joint
sometimes, I am borrowed by your friend
who play with me and then I need a mend

I wait desperately for you
to take me away
for your friends make my granite
back on it's way !!

Some good words

" Living life is like flying a kite. whether you know how to play  akite or not, just observe someone who knows that and you will notice that life also needs those jerks, pulls and slackness to reach heights."

Do you have energy ?? - II

In the first section I ended on the development of cities, states and nations. So, continuing you may have heard that the fiscal deficit of India is rocketing up and the main reason cited is our oil imports. Gold and oil have the lion's share in the list of things that India imports. We can reduce the oil imports by adopting car pools, turning off vehicles at traffic lights, using less fossil fuels and managing the ship transport of oil to reduce oil spills. The other way out is to increase our exports in fields other than in spices to balance the high imports with our exports. The other field, in my point of view should be energy because India has already gone far in producing all types of energy and if we cooperate a bit more than some drastic changes can happen. The idea of installing solar panels on our homes' roofs and water harvesting plants is likeable. I know that everyone cannot afford it but who can should implement it. Also, public gardens are a perfect place where our government can set up water harvesting plants. Chennai is a success in water harvesting, said Mr. RK Pachauri. Remember that saving water generates energy Another idea is in air which says that if you use the electricity produced by your solar panels than the bill that you pay by meter will be reduced corresponding to the amount of power your solar panels generate. Another idea, I think can work out is setting up of water and energy banks just like we have blood banks, The water that you save, the energy that you generate will go into these banks and you will be certified. The idea needs some polishing but can work for our fiscal deficit. !!
So, I hope you make yourselves energy rich. !

Do you have energy ?? - I

Yesterday I was reading an interview of Mr. RK Pachauri, director of The Energy Research Institute(TERI) of India. There he had praised Arvind's kejriwal's take on water and power supply and had also appreciated Narendra Modi's move on his action of fitting photovoltaic cells on water canals irrigating the fields of Gujarat. It was really a good idea to generate energy and save landspace because otherwise he would had to install solar energy plants which require much amount of land. Mr. Manmohan Singh, honorable prime minister of our country, yesterday, in the much awaited press conference said that the best moment of his tenure was when he was able to strike a nuclear deal with US. These two instances shot a thought in me that the world today needs energy, energy and some more energy. Why does a nation spends huge amount of money on testing the launching of their nuclear vehicles??  Because they know that anyhow the future of energy is nuclear energy sans the dangerous side effects because the technology till then will superpose these misleadings. So, if a city, a state or a nation wants to develop than I think that among many other tasks, it should focus on its energy production.

Some food for pigeons

So, how many of you have experienced the joy of feeding these pigeons? I experienced it just few days before and found that many people are there who love to feed these birds. Most of the people were on their way to office but they stopped besides the roadside vendors, bought the plates containing the cereals for the birds and started sprinkling them on the ground, some were a step ahead and fed the pigeons on their hand !! The scene was awesome, the sky above you covered by pigeons and the road around you encroached by pigeons all around. This post is in perfect agreement with my earlier post on the Happiness of giving as you can start your joy of giving by this elementary practice of feeding the birds and actually you are feeding the roadside vendors' families also along with the birds. I know that bird feeding is prohibited at some places but roadside it is completely allowed and perfect also.
So, next time you spot a flock of pigeons, don't be lazy to sprinkle some cereals for them or be ready to clean their piss on your car !!! :P :D

The great indian AAP

After removing the VIP culture, abandoning the Z- security, red light transport and turning to metro, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal has yet burnt another truth which we all had accepted that politics takes years to deliver the election promises. He stood on two of his most discussed promises of reducing the power and water bills. In both the decisions, the thing I like the most is that he has increased the load on the government in form of subsidies to comfort us. The impact of this load will be that when the government will start to feel a hole in its pocket, they will automatically fulfill the subsidy in two possible ways. Either they will snatch the money from those intermediates to whom they have given the rights of corruption in return of votes or they will increase the burden of taxes on us. The subsidy in case of power bills is Rs. 770 crores which is really a big amount, so corruption is definitely gonna reduce. Another plus point is that the new billing system is rewarding the people who do not waste electricity and water. If you are using less than 20Kl of water or 400 units of electricity, then you will be getting them at reduced prices but more then that will rob you for the entire amount and that too at the increased rates. So, conservation of water and electricity is going to become prominent. The 2000/- electricity bill you were getting every month will cut to 1000/-, hey !! wait for one year and then own a Nokia Lumia 520 and save 2500/- actually. !!.
But one setback that I think Mr Kejriwal will face in the light of his reforms is some golmal in the power and water meters. The case of bypassing the electricity from the meter straight into the houses is not much old, be it the case of 2013. It just takes a bit of wire interchanging and you get rid of paying the bills besides enjoying full electricity, yes above 400 units also !!. So, I wish success to Mr Arvind Kejriwal as he is doing every work with proper calculations and also advise him to keep a check on the proper implementation of his orders and from you I wish that the constraint of 400 units of power do not rob you of your favourite TV sops !!!. Also, save water to waste in Holi otherwise be ready to play a waterless HOli !!!!

Best of Luck and enjoy the new year :D
